What a Week

Monday started off great, Kaden and I woke up excited and ready to close on our house. We had been told that it was actually going to happen a couple weeks ago and never did. Then we were told Monday for sure. Well, surprise surprise, we didn't close. Then Tuesday came and our lender said it should happen by Friday. It just so happened that right after talking to the lender our land lord's tell us we need to be out by wednesday for cleaning on Thursday. Seriously? I panicked and had a melt down. I called my mom crying, not just crying but like full on convulsions with tears pouring out. Then I pulled myself together to call our realitor and my convulsions just started right back up again. I think he got the point pretty quickly that i needed to close on wednesday. So a little while later i get a call from our lender who now says, that he just got chewed out by our realitor but we will close Wednesday. Yea right? Wednesday comes around, I am fasting to close, and still it doesn't happen. Luckily though our land lord's decided to give us until next Friday to move out. Kaden had honestly gotten us a storage shed and was ready to start moving stuff when we found out. Now, today is Friday and drum role please...we still have not closed on our house. I am questioning wheather we will ever get our house or not. Monday is supposedly the day now, but who knows. I sure have no clue whatsoever. I am just happy that this weekend My cousins and aunts and uncles are going to be down in Logandale for a little family reunion and we are going out to the Lake. Also i am very excited for Luke! He just got his mission call last night and he has been called to serve in, Arkansa! Woo Hoo! I guessed Africa, then i guess Louisianna. Not to far off huh? Kaden and I are so happy for Luke though and we are so very proud of him as well. He will be an amazing missionary. I have absolutely loved watching him grown this past year and have loved getting to know him more. He is pretty quiet but i love talking to him when he decides to open up. I can also tell how much his testimony has grown this summer, and how ready he is to serve the Lord. It has been so neat watching him prepare himself and hearing about the way the church history trip helped him grow. I am kind of sad though that he will be gone for two years. Hopefully Kaden and I will do a much better job at writing Luke than we did writing Vance. Sorry Vance, we were terrible at writing you.
